dsDNase is an endonuclease that cleaves phosphodiester bonds in DNA, generating oligonucleotides with 5′-phosphate and 3′-hydroxyl termini. This product is primarily used to rapidly remove genomic DNA contamination from RNA samples prior to reverse transcription. Compared to traditional DNase I-based methods for removing genomic DNA contamination, it does not require additional EDTA for inactivation, reduces RNA damage, saves experimental time, and ensures the accuracy of RNA quantification.
