Pseudouridine is widely present in tRNA, mRNA, snRNA, and snoRNA and is extensively used in nucleic acid therapeutics. Studies have shown that substituting uridine with pseudouridine significantly reduces the immunogenicity of in vitro transcribed mRNA, enhances mRNA stability, and increases expression levels.
