RNase Inhibitor is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli that binds to RNase A, RNase B, and RNase C in a 1:1 ratio in a non-competitive manner, inhibiting the activity of these three enzymes and protecting RNA from degradation by them. However, this RNase Inhibitor does not inhibit the enzymatic activity of RNase I, T1, T2, H, U1, U2, or CL3.
