This product is a mixture of random sequences of six deoxyribonucleotides (46 sequence combinations available) at a concentration of 50 μM. It can be used as an alternative to Oligo(dT) and other specific primers for reverse transcription when synthesizing cDNA from mRNA. It is suitable for long RNA or RNA with hairpin structures and has low specificity. It is commonly used to obtain 5′ terminal sequences or to generate cDNA from RNA templates with complex secondary structures.
