We offer two types of annealing buffers: RNA Annealing Buffer and DNA Annealing Buffer. RNA Annealing Buffer is designed for annealing RNA oligonucleotides and can be used to anneal complementary RNA oligos synthesized for siRNA to form double-stranded RNA.
DNA Annealing Buffer is designed for annealing DNA oligonucleotides and is suitable for routine DNA oligo annealing, especially for difficult-to-anneal DNA oligos used in RNAi (siRNA) plasmid construction. This buffer effectively prevents DNA oligos from forming hairpin structures, and after annealing, the two oligos can be directly ligated with digested and purified plasmids, yielding a high number of positive clones upon transformation.
