This strain is a BL21 derivative similar to BL21trxB(DE3) and carries mutations in both thioredoxin reductase (trxB) and glutathione
reductase (gor). It has the λ phage DE3 region integrated into its chromosome and can express T7 RNA polymerase. Plasmids containing
the T7 promoter can be used for protein expression in this strain. It confers kanamycin and tetracycline resistance.
