Anticoagulants are a class of chemical reagents or substances that can prevent blood coagulation. These substances inhibit certain coagulation factors in the blood through chemical reactions to prevent blood coagulation. Generally, after obtaining a blood sample, if subsequent experiments require liquid blood samples, an appropriate amount of anticoagulant is usually added to the blood. Common anticoagulants include: ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid salts (EDTA salts), which can chelate calcium ions, thereby preventing blood coagulation; heparin, which can bind to antithrombin and promote its inhibition of coagulation factors and thrombin activity, and inhibit platelet formation; oxalates, which can form calcium oxalate precipitates with calcium ions in the blood, thereby preventing blood coagulation; citrates, which can form soluble chelates with calcium ions in the blood, thereby preventing blood coagulation. Our company offers a variety of anticoagulant reagents to meet different subsequent experimental needs.
