Different cells in human blood have different densities. Red blood cells and granulocytes have a higher density around 1.090 g/mL, lymphocytes and monocytes range from 1.075 to 1.090 g/mL, and platelets range from 1.030 to 1.035 g/mL. Therefore, gradient centrifugation can be used to separate and collect specific cell types. Our lymphocyte separation solution is an isotonic solution with a density between 1.075 and 1.092 g/mL, designed for isolating mononuclear cells from human anticoagulated blood (peripheral blood, cord blood, etc.) or tissue samples. The product is sterile and ready-to-use, requiring no additional dilution.
