Lysosomes are acidic organelles. Lyso-Tracker Red and Lyso-Tracker Green are pH-sensitive fluorescent probes that increase fluorescence intensity under acidic conditions, making them suitable for distinguishing acidic organelles and staining lysosomes to study lysosomal biosynthesis and function in live cells. Lyso-Tracker Red has a maximum excitation wavelength of 575 nm and maximum emission wavelength of 600 nm, emitting red fluorescence. Lyso-Tracker Green has a maximum excitation wavelength of 443 nm and maximum emission wavelength of 505 nm, emitting green fluorescence.
